Hi Guys, thanks for taking a moment from your busy lives to answer these questions for the Rock Realms Interrogation section. What were you doing before you rudely had these questions shoved in front of you?
GLAM: Hi Jon! How are you? Well before I had these questions nicely handed over to me I enjoyed my Christmas holiday enjoying a glass of Brandy ;-) And I must say I'm still enjoying my Brandy as we speak.

Who's the best band out there (apart from yourselves, obviously)?
GLAM: Apart from ourselves I definitely think Aerosmith is the tightest and coolest band around these days. I also love KISS of course, but music wise I think Aerosmith is tighter than Michael Jackson's nose.
FLASH: AC/DC

Are there any bands we might not have heard of you think people should check out?
FLASH: I don’t consider myself a rock 'n' roll scout for detecting new acts, so I think all my acquaintances in music are well known to the masses :-) There's a Norwegian rock band called Wig Wam that I really think people should check out. Really ;-)

Which song are you most proud of working on/writing?
GLAM: Right now I'm most proud of my recent work on my solo album GLAMunition. And especially a song called Brave which I think is the strongest song I have ever written. Among the Wig Wam songs I would say Bygone Zone.

Who were your biggest influences?
GLAM: For me it's always been Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Kiss, Alice Cooper and Queen. Hmm and Sweet and David Bowie and... I have plenty of influences.
FLASH: AC/DC, Van Halen, Kiss, Queen, and Manowar, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and The Beatles plus many many many MORE.

Is there anyone in the music industry you would love to work with?
FLASH: I’m sure there is, but I don’t think of that too often. To watch “Mutt Lange” would be interesting.
GLAM: I'd love to work with John Lennon one day...

What's the best/worst thing you've ever done when drunk?
GLAM: I guess making the whole band leave the stage... and falling over the entire drum kit. I bet I've done worse things, but I simply can't remember ;-)

Anything you want to plug?
GLAM: As I mentioned earlier I have just finished my second solo album which includes guest appearances from Kee Marcello (Europe), Ronnie Le Tekro (TNT) and Dan Reed (Dan Reed Network). Apart from that I've bee touring with a Queen show for a year called The Show Must Go On (check it out here).
FLASH: I play in a heavy metal band called Artch, which is a band from the eighties who released two records back then. The band doesn’t officially exist, but we do some gigs from time to time (Check them out here). I also do a cover act called “A Rock 'n' Roll Adventure” which is a multimedia show based upon the rock history from the late sixties to early nineties. We do covers from the classic rock era like Zeppelin, Kiss, AC/DC, Deep Purple…

Do you live the rock 'n' roll dream?
FLASH: Not too often, but used to.
GLAM: I tend to enjoy REAL life. The rock 'n' roll dream is a myth to be quite honest... even though touring does have its golden moments.

How did you not win the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005? You and Vanilla Ninja were by far the best bands that year. Were you jealous that Lordi won in 2006? Do you think you paved the way for them?
FLASH: I don’t know?? The Eurovision will always be an enigma. And yes, I do believe we paved the way for Lordi, but I’m really happy for them. Not jealous at all!!
GLAM: We didn't win because we didn't get enough votes, ha ha. I don't think Europe was ready for hard rock in Eurovision by then. But like you mention, the next year they were. I definitely think that we paved the the way for them, but that doesn't give us any credit for their victory. They did an amazing job. And I wasn't jealous at all. I loved to see them win.

Do you think being that band off Eurovision has helped or hindered you?
GLAM: In some ways yeah. Among some narrow minded hard rock fans I believe it hindered us. And do I care? No way! Narrow minded rock fans wouldn't fancy us anyway. Putting on our stage costumes made us avoid those people in the first place. Their loss ;-)
FLASH: Without question helped us in many ways.

How is the new album coming along?
FLASH: Slowly, but we are quite excited about it. I’m sure it will be the best so far!
GLAM: We are in the process of picking songs. There are a bunch of great songs there to pick from, so it will be one hell of a cat fight within the band.

Are you carrying on that fun party style rock or are you going for a change of style?
GLAM: We're pretty much the same. But I think the next album will be a bit rougher. I mean... the work title for the album is BALLS, so we have something to live up to ;-)
FLASH: It will be Rock 'n' Roll. I’ll tell you that for sure.

Are you working with any other musicians on the new album?
GLAM: No! We're a band you know. So it will be a band effort. But maybe we'll bring in some additional musicians for strings or horn sections, piano and stuff like that.

Wig Wam have a distinctive look. Any plans on producing your own clothing line?
FLASH: No, but it sounds like an idea :-)
GLAM: Ha ha ha no we're NOT going into the clothing business.

What question do you hate interviewers asking you and what goes through your mind when you get asked it?
GLAM: I guess the thing about our image being a drawback for us... I mean... we wouldn't dress like we do if everyone including our band hated it. That's our style. But we will probably adjust a bit for our new album. New show, new costumes, new songs... uhmmm... and a new year too ;-)

We assume you are looking forward to playing the UK in 2009...
FLASH: Always looking forward to new gigs. Nothing can be compare to an explosive rock 'n' roll gig
