Warm, crazy and wild Japanese cheers
After great concerts with fantastic audience both at Big Cat in Osaka and at E.L.L in Nagoya, the Norwegian glam rockers arrived in Tokyo on Thursday evening. A crowd with more than thousand enthusiastic rockers at Club Citta gave Wig Wam such an overwhelming reception they will hardly be able to forget.
April 30, 2010 – Behind the stage curtain, getting ready for their Kawasaki gig, the band members could enjoy the crowd’s shouting for ”WIG WAM, WIG WAM”. During the band presentation, Glam grabs the michrophone shouting ”Rock and Roll” back to the audience which replied with wild cheers which went sky high to explode and make the roof shivering when the curtain went up and the band became visible through heavy smoke and pyro technics.
The enthusiastic audience response was a great inspiration to the band, and Wig Wam delivered one of their best live performance ever. This crazy bunch of a wonderful rocking crowd will be remembered with great pleasure for a very long time.
The set list included both new and earlier songs – and the crowd was singing through them all.
On Saturday night Wig Wam will close their Japanese tour with a very special show for the most dedicated fans. The band do have some surprises for tomorrows Golden Party.
During their stay in Japan, the band members have done interviews, DVD-recordings and radio show. When Wig Wam returns to Norway, the Non Stop Rock’n Roll tour continues with several shows and festivals, The first one at Klepp in Rogaland, Saturday 8th of May.
