Energy, force and fun … that’s what Norwegian glam kings Wig Wam are all about. “Non Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll” is the title of album number four and it gives the listener all the album title promises: catchy tunes and melodic hard rock anthems, all coming down from our rock ‘n’ roll heaven above! Opener and first single “Do Ya Wanna Taste” sets the tone for a total of 44 minutes listening and singalong pleasure. This album is so good that it is over before you know it. The only thing you want to do after that is touching the replay button.
Highlights? Are you kidding? Pick whatever song you want, because all of them are prime examples of what this glam kings stand for: unpretentious, good feeling rock ‘n’ roll. So, stop reading this and run to your nearest record shop. I don’t know how many good albums will follow this year, but I’m sure I will remember this particular one when I prepare my top-10 list at the end of this year …
