The Norwegian glam rockers Wig Wam are back with their follow up album Wig Wamania, following their successful debut, Hard To Be A Rock`N`Roller. After the giant success with the debut, who has sold over 38000 copies and the single In My Dreams who also has sold 11000 copies, they return with an album that in my opinion is much stronger and more matured than the debut. Musically they continue in the same direction, but with a bit rougher edge this time. Every song is of high quality with great melody lines and sing-along choruses and every tune is perfect for listening to at your car stereo, at a party or a concert! There is no doubt about that the band are deeply influenced by many of the big names from the 80`s hard rock scene. And I think that if you like this kind of music you will hear bits from bands like Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Poison and Scorpions in their songs. The band do what they are good at and I will say that they definetely are the hottest name in Norway at the moment, and that no one in their genre in Norway match these guys. The songs come like pearls on a string and with songs like Rock My Ride and Slave To Your Love, I feel they are at their best. Throughout the album you get a perfect mix of uptempo songs like Gonna Get You Someday, Kill My Rock`N`Roll, Breaking All The Rules, to more ballad like songs like Bygone Zone and At The End Of The Day. If you like melodic hardrock and glam rock from the 80`s you need this album, this album is a must-have!!!!!
